Being Complete In Him

Happy New Week, sweethearts! How are you doing? I've missed you so much. It's been like ages since I interacted with you in the comment box. That'd change soon.

Today, I want to share with you a word that's been brewing in my Spirit. :)

Complete In Christ

I am complete in Christ. You are complete in Christ. We are all complete in Christ. Hallelujah! Amen!

I was excited when I received the SMS from my pastor, Pst. Bode last night. Our church would be starting a 7-Day prayer chain this week, themed "COMPLETE IN HIM".

I am literally humming a song and smiling as I type this. The joy in my heart has no bounds because I am about to experience His fullness. Glory!

Colossians 2:10 says, "and you are complete in him who is the head of all principality and power." Literally it says you have been made complete. You have been made whole. You have been made full in Him. There is nothing missing. Christ fills you up. There aren't any other thing to add to that. You have been made complete with the fullness of Him who fills all in all.

I actually enjoy the New International version of this verse where it says ‘we are brought to fullness’. Jesus Christ in us is full! The Holy spirit is currently guiding and teaching us into the fullness of WHAT WE ALREADY HAVE!!!!

Last week, I told you about His Healing Grace. Yeah? You may ask, "What does that have to do with Colossians 2:10?" The truth is this, at least as it serves in my mind, and I trust in yours, a beautiful picture of how God heals us spiritually.

When God heals a person, He makes the person entirely whole - wholeness means being complete - which is precisely what Colossians 2:10 means by, "and ye are complete in Him."

Oh la la! Are you catching the rhema?

You know, every time I think of spiritual blessings, the first thing that comes to mind is the fruit of the Spirit. All of the aspects of that fruit; love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control, are all aspects of His character. It's thrilling to know that we have the fullness of all of these things because He is within us.

We know that we are all going through a healing process and that the journey isn't yet complete for any of us until we leave this world. But as we move forward from grace to grace, we need to understand that we don't need to gain the fruit of the Spirit or any other spiritual blessing, we only need to experience what we already have been given.

Isn't that enough to get you excited?! Oh my!

And the great thing about being complete is that we don't need anything else. We don't need man's philosophies or their legalistic false-wisdom. We don't need husbands, wives or children. We don't need money or some material possession. No!

We are complete.
We are lacking nothing.
We are full.

Sweetie, I have to ask, what do you think that you are lacking? What is the void in your heart? Let Jesus fill you up again. He is more than enough.

I really hope that our lives will not be driven by lack or need for more things. I hope that we will not be beguiled by pressures and vain deceits to spend our lives in the pursuit of things that don’t matter very much. I hope that our sense of incompleteness will not paralyze our sense of abundance. We are complete in Him.

Here is the highlight of His word laid in my own heart:

Jesus Is My Bridegroom

Aha! I am married to Jesus. Please, stop asking me about hubby. I don't lack a husband. Hehehe . . .

Jesus, my Bridegroom is presently calling and perfecting me, His heavenly bride; “For I have espoused you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ” (2 Corinthians 11:2).

So, besides being a member of the body of Christ and temple of God, I am His bride.

This revelation thrills me. Jesus is just enough for me!

"Don’t focus on the lack in your life. Focus on how you are complete in Christ at this moment!"

Is Jesus enough for you?
