6 Birthday Messages I’m Keeping Forever

It’s less than 24hours after my birthday and I still feel completely undone by the kindness of my people. I received texts, calls, DMs, posts, videos, voice notes and even customized fliers that made me cry, laugh, blush. . . and pause to just whisper “thank You, Jesus.”

So today, I’m bottling up some of those words like flowers here. This is for the me that might need a reminder in the future. And maybe for you too. Because words are powerful. And when they come from the heart? They stay with us foreverrrr.

Birthday Love That Melted My Heart

💛

Life can get noisy. The screams of the enemy may try to negate God’s whispers sometimes. On the days (like this one here) when I feel invisible or uncertain, I want to come back here and remember: I’m seen. I’m loved. I’m inspiring.

Here are Top 6 of the birthday wishes I’m holding onto:

  • From Ifunanya Emenike (The MEGA Teens)
Happy birthday to the beautiful Aunty, my inspiration mummy, I'm inspired by how you can be fashionable and also prayerful. My mindset while in east was that those that dress fashionable are not serious with things of God, but now I take those words back because you've shown me that you can dress fashionable and serve God mightily, thank you for changing that mindset of mine and thank you for all your sacrifices for the mega teens, I pray that God's favour will always go with you , because his favour makes impossible possible.
Happy birthday once more and enjoy your day.

Wearing New Shoes, Many Hats… How Did I Grow Up So Fast?!

It’s my birthday!!!! What’s a birthday without a blog post?! I tried to have a quiet birthday but my people literally said, “No no, it’s already too late oh, no no!” I love it for me. Thank you, guys!!!

Wearing New Shoes & Many Hats

Freshest photo taken today: 26/06/2025

I can’t believe I am as old as I am today. It’s funny that I screamed to the world when I turned 20, 21,22, 25,26,28 and almost screamed out my lungs when I turned 30. Now, today, I’m like, “girl, you are not a child anymore”. Maybe because I am now mothering three children. Who knows? Oh my!

Do you become quieter as you grow older??

Anyway, for some reasons best known to me, I thought it wise to not share any pictures of me today, June 26. I wasn’t going to declare my birthday until I got a Wordddd. I have been waiting on God all through the month of June. And finally, I received IT. Glory!!!!

5 Things I’m Loving About This Pregnancy Glow

It’s often said that every pregnancy is different, and from my experience, that’s absolutely true. I’m not sure I glowed as much during my previous pregnancies (though some people claimed I did), but this time, I’m glowinggggggg—I can see it and feel it! Hallelujah!!!

A Different Pregnancy Glow

Pregnancy Glow_amakamedia

Pregnancy glow is the vibrant, radiant, fresh look that many women show on their faces while pregnant. For me, this pregnancy is the most beautiful thing. I feel like I’m not just growing a baby—I’m also glowing in every possible way. It’s been such a joy to experience this unique blend of physical changes, emotional highs, and spiritual blessings that make me feel radiant. So today, I’m unapologetically showing off and sharing five things I’m absolutely loving about this pregnancy glow!

1. My Skin is Doing the Most

There’s something about the way pregnancy hormones work their magic! My skin feels smoother, softer, and yes, brighter. It’s like the angels decided to sprinkle a little extra oil on me. I catch myself in the mirror sometimes and think, “Who is this glowing beauty?!” Whether it’s the natural flush or just the glow that comes with carrying life, I’m soaking in every compliment like the queen I am!

STYLE: The Year has been Lighted

Happy First Sunday of the Year! I hope you went to church today, whether physically or online? If you didn’t, it is well with you. However, if you did, what did you wear?

Yes, I am interested in knowing what you wore to church? Let me know.

2024 is LIGHT-ED

I am almost accustomed to starting my posts with “I don’t know where this post is headed but…” So I do not want to start like that on this one. Here is what I am going to do instead:

I am going to share highlights of today’s sermon, ‘Walking in the Light,’ with you while showing you pictures of what I wore to church today. Meanwhile, I worshipped at the Teens church today, and it was truly an uplifting service.

STYLE: How To Make Simple Ankara Face Masks Without Sewing Machine

Hi Sweethearts! How are you doing this Sunday? With highly contagious COVID19 rapidly spreading throughout the world, many people are shopping for surgical masks to protect against this dangerous disease.

I had a cause to go out to get groceries and didn't like the face mask Kachi bought for me to use for protection. Days later, I playfully crafted with Ankara and it turned out to be just great! I would be making more. Excited much!

If you have been a keen follower of my blog (or any of my social media), then you already know that I love love love Ankara. The African print fabric (mostly known as Ankara) can reflect your stylish personality while helping you stay safe on the streets.

First, I trust you are aware that the Centre for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommends wearing cloth face coverings in public settings where other social distancing measures are difficult to maintain (e.g., grocery stores and pharmacies), especially in areas of significant community-based transmission. Wearing home-made face masks is a voluntary public health measure in this epidemic.

Having said that, I can now go ahead to show you how I made my Ankara face mask in twenty minutes.

STYLE: Yellow Light Tells You To Get Ready To Go/Stop

Hi! Loong time, no Sunday-Style post. But we are back now. Hallelujah!

The Yellow Light

What do you know about traffic lights?

Traffic lights are located on most major road junctions in cities and towns around the world. You see them often, yeah? The lights let us know when it is safe to drive through the intersection and when to walk across the street as well as when to stop and let other drivers, bikers and pedestrians take their turns to continue on their way.

Basically, the red, yellow and green lights tell road users when to stop and when to go.

STYLE: Try Monochromatic Outfits For A Week And See What Happens

Happy Style-Sunday! Hope you're having an awesome Sunday? Great. I accidentally started something on WhatsApp which I hashtagged #LifeInColours, and it turned out to be a source of inspiration to me and all my friends.

We all dream, love and live in colours everyday.

Life In Colours

Have you ever seen the rainbow and how beautiful the colours are? Have you also wondered why God even created the rainbow in the first place? Me too!

If God created the rainbow, then it must be significant to our lives.

I think the seven colours of rainbow: Red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo and violet / purple have significant and unique roles to play in all our life's journey —  healing, wholeness and well-being.
