He Needs Your Love Now, Even If You've Never Met Him (Pray For Your Future Husband)

You don’t become a praying wife and/or mother overnight.

Pray For Your Future Husband

I often pray for my future husband. But sometimes it can be hard to pray for someone you’ve never even met before! So what are you supposed to pray? How can you pray deeper, more meaningful, and powerful prayers for your future man?

When I got this book 'Prayer For Your Future Husband' written by my darling sister and friend, Frances (who is now known as Hephzibah), I immediately knew I was going to take up the challenge. But it lingered.

I finally did it. Fully.

This prayer challenge is near and dear to my heart, and has taught me a lot. I’m thrilled to share it with you! I hope that this will encourage you to pray for your future spouse, or the man that God has already blessed you with.

Notes From 'Bridging The Gap Between Ruth And Naomi 2.0'

It's April 30. And I can't believe the month has come to an end. April was a blast back to back. Oh, what a refreshing month I had! It was indeed totally different from March 2018. Wai. . .tt, wait, let's not spill until the next Tuesday's Dear-Diary post. 🙂

Here's some dose of inspiration from last weekend's hangout with my girlfriends.

Bridging The Gap Between Ruth and Naomi 2.0

If you have been an ardent follower of this blog, you must have heard me mention 'The Women At The Well (TWTW)' a couple of times. Read here and here.

'Bridging the gap between Ruth and Naomi' is an annual event organized by TWTW. The second edition held last weekend, and it was (*** please help me insert a word to describe how it feels when your heart is sweaming in the ocean of God's love here***).

🎶 how do I describe
a God that is indescribable?
how do I explain
the love that is unexplainable?

Ohhhh ohhhh ohhhh my heart sings ohhhh ohhhh ohhhh 🎶

8 Types Of Friends You Need In Your Life

Hiya! It's Love-Wednesday! Let's talk about friendship today. Shall we?

Friends are essentials to have. It’s not about how many friends you have, it’s about having friends who bring positivity and inspiration into your life. When it comes to friendships, it about quality, not quantity.

Friends You Need In Your Life

We all need great friends and we all deserve to have people in our lives who  bring out the very best in us.

Many of us have had seasons in our lives where we come across toxic friends who do nothing but drain us, exhaust us, suck the energy out of us and make our lives miserable. These types of friends are the worst, and we are all better off when we cut them out.

DIARY: Yellow! Water Salt Of Brown Weekend!

When someone asks you "how was your weekend?" and you want to describe your weekend in one sentence without leaving any part of the story behind, what would you say? I got an idea; use colours.

Your response will help you discern those who really care whether your weekend went well and those who just ask for the sake of it. Those who care would ask for more details and those who don't care would either smile or shrug.

For those who care, here is the loong gist of last weekend . . .

Yellow-Water-Salt-Brown Weekend

Yellow! Water Salt of Brown Weekend! appears to me as the best caption for this post. There is so much to tell you, but where/how do I start from? From the moment I left the house on Saturday to the moment I got home, a million events occurred. I might have to break this experience into parts.

Let's start like this:

Is Blogging A Reality Or An Illusion?

Hi! It's December already! I tend to reflect a lot at the beginning of a new month, new week or new season. Newness inspires me.

While I was reflecting, I thought about how far I have come with blogging. And it dawned on me that yours truly hasn't bagged any award yet. Lol. But why?

The Rewards Of A Blogger

Being a blogger wasn't something I have always wanted to do. In fact, I stumbled on it.

DIARY: A Trip Down Memory Lane To Badagry

This is an exciting entry. Grab a bag of popcorn and a bottle of your favourite drink already. :)

Trip To Badagry

I’ve always loved going to places that give me an opportunity to see and discover exciting things. Visiting Badagry was an amazing experience for me; I learnt the town’s most beautiful culture and heritage.

Today, I celebrate the life of a sister and friend.

Lol.

OK. Wait. What should I say?

It's funny how the birthday of a dear one makes me blush. Lol.

Dear Diary, That Weekend Was Lit! (TWTW, LCC & More)

Everybody has posted about it except me. I just couldn't find the right words . . . until today.

I Was Present

The Women @ The Well (TWTW) had her 4th meet in July. I was there physically, spiritually and mentally.

Oh yes, I have to separate each presence. You know you can be somewhere and not be there, right? A-ha!

BOOK REVIEW: 'The Spider's Web' By Dumebi Ezar Ehigiator

Yay! This book happens to be my first birthday gift this year. Frances visited me for the first time on the very first day of June and said, "I know you like books, so I brought this for you. I'm the first person to give you a gift" Trust me, she beat everyone else to the punch. Thanks babes. You are simply amazing! *blows kisses*

Now let's review . . .

'The Spider's Web' By Dumebi Ezar Ehigiator

I couldn't wait to read this book. It is so beautiful to look at. Lovely cover. Nice design. They say "don't judge a book by its cover", but I literally did this time. I knew it had to be as captivating as its cover.

DIARY: This Is The Woman I See

My sister and friend, Frances has inspired me to write about the woman I see myself becoming. She said reading it can help us get through dark times. I totally agree.

The Woman I see

I am so excited about the woman I am growing into. I love her sillily. I admire her values, her goals, her priorities and every single thing that makes her an exceptional person.

What I Wore: Because Of Sandflies

Have you ever been on a picnic or camping trip and been bitten (or eaten alive) by those pesky bugs known as sandflies? Well, I have and it is not funny. :(

Because Of Sandflies

Last week, I had a very bad allergic reaction to sandfly bites. I didn't want to step out of my bed. I felt terribly horrible. My skin (hands and legs) was swollen, reddish and itchy.

DIARY: I Will Always Have Girlfriends

This diary entry didn't go the way I had planned. I wanted it to look like this one and that one but . . . oh well. Everyday cannot be the same. :)

My Girlfriends

Frances, my sweet sister and friend did it again. She organized the TWTW (The women @ The Well) meet up for April. And I couldn't miss it for anything in the world!

See What I Got For Christmas :)

Hello sweeties! Hope you had a fantastic Christmas celebration. Oya gist me. :)
Exactly two weeks ago, I told you what I had on my wish list. So I think it's proper to show you what I finally got. :)

What I Got For Christmas

I googled the meaning of "Boxing Day" to be very sure I know what it means. But it appears Mr. Google is also confused. Who knows the real meaning??

OK. While I await your response. I guess Boxing Day is stated to be December 26, a day to open your Christmas gift box. Yeah? Well, I couldn't meet up to our posting time (5:59 AM) on Saturday. So I postponed it till today.

RELATIONSHIP: Joseph, The Man Mary Married

Erm . . . I became nervous when about five people told me they couldn't wait to read today's post. I wish I didn't mention it on Twitter that I was going to share insights from the love story of Joe and Mary. As at 4:00AM this morning, I didn't know how/what to write anymore. *scratches head* I am still trying to write . . .

Traits Of An Ideal Man (In Joseph)

source: g+

During one of our discussions on TWTW (The Women at The Well) group initiated by Frances, we talked about this. The 9 of us have been studying love stories in the Bible and fetching out "rhema" from them. We are studying to revamp our minds on "the list" we have created about our life partners as we accept God’s own list for us in our hearts. We've been encouraging one another towards choosing carefully (on the basis of character). And it’s been so insightful and soul lifting.

How Last Weekend Went . . . Fantastic!

Mehn, last weekend was so much fun! It was one of those weekends I wish I could freeze. As in, I never wanted it to end. Lemme gist you . . .  :)

Family Weekend

Yep! It was The RCCG's General Family Weekend nationwide. The family weekend is a weekend set aside to celebrate and appreciate every member of the family. It is also an avenue to bring members together in love and unity.

Yay! Another giveaway post. Not just any kinda giveaway, it's a book. A book! You know I'm a bookworm. Yeah? Just in case you didn't know, read 7 Things About Me. Good inspirational books are the second next things that turn me on after the Bible. I have read so many books on how to fulfill purpose but this one is different. . . very different.

'10 Steps To Walking In Purpose' is the newest book written by my very own sweetheart - Barr. Frances Okoro. A powerful, interesting and unique book that I thoroughly enjoyed.

I wish I didn't Visit your Blog

"Ehen! So you have a blog. And you did not tell me?" A friend exclaimed.
"Oh, I'm sorry. I was shy. I didn't know how to tell you."  I replied, sincerely.
"Aabegy! What is there in telling someone that you have a blog?" My friend muttered.

The truth is, telling you I'm a blogger is a biiiig deal!

I wish I didn't Visit your Blog

At the moment, I consider myself a newbie on the blogosphere. I officially launched this blog on my last birthday, June 26, 2014. And that's barely a year ago.

I logged on to blogger on March 1, 2014. So much for MARCHing forward. Lol. My first post (welcome) was on March 5. In the beginning, I was not very confident about the blog thingy. I had held it as my little secret for about two months. But I continued posting all my unpublished articles. I'd rather be called a writer than a blogger at that time.
