I have been gleaning from a number of inspiring women since the WOWMAN Conference. As in! God has women oh! I see the amazing things He is doing with/through the lives of these women and I’m like, “I want to be in this army!”. 

I am currently seeking God’s face to UNDERSTAND the uniqueness and specifications of my design, makeup and purpose. I am seeking clear-cut direction and focus-driven vision. I have a burning desire to step into my season as a woman who is:

It's 10 Days To My 30th Birthday! I Wrote Another Book!

Hi, hi! I will be hitting thirty on the 26th day of the coolest month of the year. And I have been sharing my lessons from being a 20-something since the beginning of this month. They are all HERE.

My plan was to reveal everything on this blog, but God gave me a bigger one. This is nothing like what you have been reading on the #20Pieces20 blog series. Well, may be it is.

Being in my 20s was puzzling. It was a decade full of questions and quests as I try to figure out everything — who am I? Am I really in love with them? What am I doing with my life? What do I want my career to look like?

Yay! I have Birthed My First Book

So. . .yeah! I wrote a book. As if the title of this post didn't tell you enough. I wrote a whole book! Oh my! Everything that has led up to this moment, and everything that’s yet to come has left me completely in awe. I can't believe it!

I can't stop thinking about how impossible it is to have my name and face on a book cover. I dreamt of this. Yes, I did! And I am not sure about what to do now because I am too excited.

First, I was scared. I was scared about writing. Who will read it? I had no idea how to write a book. I wasn’t confident that my story would be interesting, or worse, that anyone would read it. Exposure was also a great fear. I kept worrying over what will my mum think? What will my friends say? Thankfully, I overcame that phase.

Is it painful to end a relationship? Yes, of course. It’s never easy to break up with someone, especially with the one you have grown quite close to and pictured the future with. But I’m convinced it is even much less painful than spending the rest of your life being miserable in a marriage.

I dated many cute guys. Some of them in my mind and most of them in real life.

They were not all bad guys. In fact, most of them had many good qualities. We genuinely cared about each other and had fun together. But in each relationship, there were things that didn’t feel quite right.

In some relationships, I found myself compromising some of my values to match with that guy’s. In other relationships, I began to think that some of the things I had wanted in a husband were perhaps more wishful thinking than things that could actually be.

Do nice, sensitive, funny, godly men still exist? I would ask myself.

Among the books I read during the 30-Day Man Fast is 'You Are ALL THAT!' by Paula White. It is a book specially made for people like me. But wait a minute, who am I? Lol. That's what this book is about!

This book is one of the oldest in my library, yet it brings new perspectives and principles to a Jesus-loving single woman like me.

Nope, I don't mean it is for only women. It is actually for everyone.

The power of God in this book is amazing, and the power of God in the author, Paula White is amazing.

BOOK: The Leadership Challenge By James Kouzes & Barry Posner

In my opinion, this book is a bible of leardership. I am looking for a means to get a copy for myself. The one I'm holding isn't mine. (Even though I'm silently hoping Ayo, my friend would ask me to keep it).

I couldn't wait to read this book. It is so beautiful to look at. Lovely cover. Nice design. They say "don't judge a book by its cover", but I literally did this time. I knew it had to be as captivating as its cover.
