What I Wore: When All You See Is Black

Hip! Hip! Hip! Hurray! I feel like my birthday was yesterday and that today is the beginning of a new year. I feel so alive, refreshed, renewed, and everything positive! How about you? :)

All Black Everything

I tend to usually be pretty colourful and creative, injecting a burst of colour somewhere in my outfit. Wearing an all black outfit allows me to add eye watering shade of whatever, that's definitely something I love about all black outfits.

I like dressing up from ‘the dramatic look’ to ‘the geek-chick look’ and to ‘the street style look’, but black here, here and there makes a preeeetty strong case for all my outfits.

Black is beautiful.

Indeed, there’s not much that can go wrong when you’re doing black on black, plus it gives you a whole lot more room to experiment with textures and fabrics, not to mention the fact that it’s a pretty blank canvas to go cray with your accessories too.

For me, Ankara accessories are the surest things.

Black is what you see at the end, but the end always implies the start of something new. Black expresses a rebirth.

This was What I Wore at the start of 30-Day Man Fast . Now you get what I mean when I say it feels like new year even when the year is almost ending. Lol. Not saying I'm hoping into a new relationship with the next man that comes my way, but Lord, have I not changed in a month!

Change is constant and everything is temporary. This extends far beyond just the fact that people come in and out of your life, your priorities and interests change and you just need to keep on keeping on.

Yup, change affects everything else including your style, obviously.

It's the last Sunday in November, yeah, and it's not too late for everything that you have ever dreamed since the beginning of the year to come to pass just before the year ends. God is able to do much more than you think. Stay trusting.

I am a big fan of Off-shoulder clothes, I love the 'I don't care' 'I am free' vibes it illustrates.

What I don't get is the concept behind my headwrap. Do you get it?

I show off on my blog a lot. I can't help it. Lol.

I just love to experiment with colourstry out new ideas and discover different ways to style my clothes, recycle my old clothes and model in front of the mirror while staying true to my personal style.

It’s so much fun!

Thanks for sticking with me.
