DIARY: 4 Things I'm Loving Lately

I can't believe I'd never done a What-I'm-Loving post. And I've been calling myself a lifestyle blogger. Lol.

4 Things I'm Loving Lately

If you are on a journey to self-discovery, to fulfilling your dreams or to becoming a better YOU, it is very important to keep track of what you are spending most of your time and money on. You know time is life, right?

Having said that, these are the things that have been taking a big chunk of my time and money lately.

1. Sewing

With enthusiasm, I bought my very own first sewing machine in 2014. Barely two months after, I lost interest. No, wait. I didn't lose interest, my job became too demanding. So I abandoned it. However, I have recently fallen in love with sewing again. I just might be the next world-class African fashion designer. Hehehe . . .

Yep. I sew a simple danshiki dress. And I'm currently sewing a midi skirt. When I'm not blogging, reading or voicing, I am sewing!

2. Biographies

I love books. I especially enjoy reading reality stories as it concerns living in this present time and space, and not taking me to a world that doesn't exist. Lately I’ve been inspired to read more about people, especially women who have made a mark in their areas of expertise, be it in talent, knowledge or just life in general. I want to know what makes them tick.

I've read about Whitney Houston. I’m now reading about Hoda Kotb. We share a similar background and passion. I want to get to know what her triumphs and challenges were while coming up in the industry. Maybe I’ll write a review when I’m done!

3. Roasted Corn

Did someone just say 'roasted corn'? I want. I want. I want to eat roasted corn. I loveeeee roasted corn. I never used to like this thing, but I'm now loving it. My sudden crave for it still baffles me.

I am so in love with it that I posted a mini video of me eating it on Instagram. Click HERE to watch!

4. You

You. Yes, you. I would have mentioned my blog here, but what's a blog without you?  I love you for being here. Sweetheart, you light up my blogosphere. You are the reason I keep writing. You motivate me to keep going. I do not take you for granted. THANK YOU.

I heart you. Muwah!
