Happy WHOLEtober!

Hi sweetheart. How have you been? I fell sick, went to the hospital and was discharged at 8PM yesterday. God's mercy didn't let me step into October while at the hospital. Hallelujah!

Be Whole Again

It's Sunday. It's October - the first day of the month. It's Nigeria's 57th Independence Day celebration. So much to be thankful for.

What are you specially thankful for today?

I'm specially thankful that I am not on the hospital bed right now.

Yesterday, as I laid on the hospital bed with my sweet mum sitting beside and looking lovingly at me, I got the private message God was trying to pass across. see 'Go For A Heart-Check'

At this very moment, your life is the sum total of all the choices you have made, because you’re the only one who can make them. The choices may lead you to pain, or to healing. You can either choose to surrender your heart to pain monsters, or to a Healer who died to make everything whole.

You see, pain itself is not the enemy. Pain is inevitable in this high-and-low life where you will continue to experience dark and bright moments that you cannot control. Unhealed pain, however, will become your greatest foe if your broken heart is not made whole again after each experience.

And sweetheart, there is only One who can understand your pain and take the shattered pieces of your heart and put it back together so that it flourishes even in the worst situations.

After months of living as a single Christian with a broken, bleeding heart, I am finally touching the helm of Jesus' garment. And it began with a Holy Spirit-guided journey to the center of my truest self —The heart that Jesus loved so much that He died to live inside of it. I realized that in order to find out what it meant to live each moment from my inheritance of freedom and wholeness, I needed to learn how to let the Healer make me whole. And in order to do that, I had to let Him have full access to every emotion, every heartbreak and shameful truth.

You can't hide your wounded heart and expect it to heal. You can’t neglect your feelings and expect them to change. You have to surrender, hold tightly to the hand of your Heart Keeper, and turn around to face the overwhelming mess. You have to open your heart and allow Love to start pouring into your inner self to cast out all your fear—turning your heart into the home it was created to be.

It’s time for every part of your heart to be loved into wholeness.

Happy WHOLEtober!
May the Lord heal you on every side and make you whole. Stay healthy. Stay inspired.

P.s Doctor said I still have some injections to take. Healed, but on a journey to wholeness.
