Wearing New Shoes, Many Hats… How Did I Grow Up So Fast?!

It’s my birthday!!!! What’s a birthday without a blog post?! I tried to have a quiet birthday but my people literally said, “No no, it’s already too late oh, no no!” I love it for me. Thank you, guys!!!

I can’t believe I am as old as I am today. It’s funny that I screamed to the world when I turned 20, 21,22, 25,26,28 and almost screamed out my lungs when I turned 30. Now, today, I’m like, “girl, you are not a child anymore”. Maybe because I am now mothering three children. Who knows? Oh my! 

Do you become quieter as you grow older??

Anyway, for some reasons best known to me, I thought it wise to not share any pictures of me today, June 26. I wasn’t going to declare my birthday until I got a Wordddd. I have been waiting on God all through the month of June. And finally, I received IT. Glory!!!!

I want to soak in on IT first. I have a lot of unpacking to do. If you know what I mean. 😉

I’m wearing new shoes and many hats in this season and it is pertinent that I come into alignment with God’s plan about it ALL. My purpose has always been to inspire and help those who are walking in my shoes and those who will yet walk in them. 

Hebrews 2:18 TPT says, He (Amaka) suffered and endured every test and temptation, so that he (Amaka) can help us (others) every time we (they) pass through the ordeals of life. That was Apostle Paul talking about Jesus but emphasis is mine. 

If you happen to wear the same shoe size as me, then I just might be of great help to you (by God’s grace). 

My shoe size varies with respect to growth, season and environment. I have walked in the following shoes:

SINGLEHOOD

Being single and clueless

Being single and feeling lonely 

Being single and heartbroken 

Being single and broke

Being single and unemployed 

Being single and celebrating others getting married 

Being single and finding purpose 

Being single, happy and whole.

CHRISTIAN LADY

Being horny

Lusting after men

Confused about life (career, purpose, identity, relationship)

Stylish and modern 

Dating

Preparing for marriage 

And of course, I am currently walking in the shoes of MARRIAGE, MOTHERHOOD, MEDIA and MINISTRY. 

You see, it’s a LOT. How did I grow up so fast?

Ps I honestly didn’t proofread this one because my husband and children are celebrating me tonight. We are having a house partyyyyy. Yay!!!
