POEM: The Picture

What's a good phone without a good camera?
Heaven knows I love pictures
I've got more than a thousand of them.
I could stare at a picture of me for hours
and not blink.
It's divine to be beautiful in pictures
I'm grateful that I am


A picture captures the moment. . .
It brings back memories.
It replays the event.
It tells me not to forget the past

Well, I used to think so too

Until I found this picture
Beautifully designed and framed
One which the moment hasn't been created
I await the time
I await its unfold
How wonderful it will be
when the moment captures the picture. . .!

The picture of the future, I see.
