Grace Can Run Out

I looked at my to-do list, and I got really scared. It dawned on me that I wouldn't be able to do it on my own. I have to totally depend on God's grace this week . . . this season.

Grace Multiplied

My to-do list isn't so different from what I've been doing for over three months now. But suddenly, it has started to look like "too much". Something wasn't right. I felt it.

I reflected and realized that I am becoming very comfortable and relying in my own abilities. I am almost neglecting and failing to acknolwedge the source of my strength and creativity . . . God's grace.

As a result, I am struggling in my flesh. I am trying too hard. I am thinking way too much. I am putting things on my shoulders that don’t belong there. I am running out of grace. (God forbid that I should fall out of grace!)

The grace of God is His ability working in and through us.

When grace is at work, people marvel at our strength, speed, and skill, not realizing that there’s a supernatural ability powering our benignant efforts from within, and creating oustanding results without.

Grace is the divine influence or evidence of God in our heart and life. It is God's gift, unearned favour, and love.

This is my year of basking in Glory. Glory is expensive. I cannot jump right into it because it has weight. I need more and more grace to prepare me for the glory I shall carry.

There is no glory until we are full of grace.

Even Jesus grew in grace and favour. Luke 5:2 says, "and Jesus keeps increasing in wisdom and in stature and in favour with God and men".

Yesterday's grace cannot sustain us for today. We need to constantly GROW in grace.
The more we depend on our self, the more we strangulate grace. We can't become who God wants us to be without partaking of His grace and favour.

I need more grace. How about you?

We most need God’s grace when we become aware of aspects in our lives we know are wrong - things like, poor decisions, habits, behavior that we are ashamed of, areas we want God to change, areas where we may fear His condemnation, areas where we are troubled about.

Grace can be multiplied.

You can multiply God's grace upon your life by praying, dwelling in the secret place, growing in the knowledge of God and obedience to His Word.

However, for me, there is a call to grow in grace through humility. (Yeah, I've been prideful in my thoughts lately. God cautions).

Multiplication Through Humility

God gives more grace to the humble at heart, people who are humble enough to receive it. With humility, we provoke God’s mercy and intervention. Humility is an attitude of the heart where self decreases. Therefore, as you decrease your focus on yourself and increase your focus on God, you multiply the amazing grace of God upon your life.

God’s grace is what we need to be able to serve with diligence and acceptably. It is not by our works but by God’s grace. An understanding of His grace will change our perspective to life and our actions, releasing us to receive all the blessings that Jesus purchased for us with His blood without any extra input from us. It will help us to relax in Jesus, trusting Him in everything.

We will not struggle to get things done, depending on our own strength but we will depend on God absolutely. Our lives will not be burdened with guilt because our sins are already washed away. Our to-do list will not be "too much" because we are trusting in God's ability within us.

So sweeties, let's increase this amazing grace of God upon our lives. His grace is sufficient for us and is enough to get us to the top. Enough to make our dreams come true. Enough to complete the tasks on our to-do list.

Increase His grace upon your life today!

It is God who works in you to will and to act in order to fulfill his good purpose.
~ Philppians 2:13

Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord, as His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue,
~ 2 Peter 1:2-3

Happy New Week.
You will succeed.
Stay positive. Stay inspired. Stay humble.
