4 Lessons from the Mistakes I made in 2014

Yay! We made it through another year. God has indeed been faithful. It is by His mercy that we are not consumed. Oh *sings* Dis kain God o.... I never see your type o... Dis kain God o... Blessed be your holy name...

2014 was amazing! I got a wonderful job, started blogging, made gorgeous friends, received answers to prayers and so much more! I'd have loved to share my testimonies. But I realized I would not be able to number them accordingly. So I decided to share the few lessons I learnt from the mistakes I had made in the past twelve months. You know,
mistakes offer us chances to learn and grow. I see these lessons as a building up for 2015.

1. I said "yes" every time my friends asked me to buy aso-ebi

Lesson: Learn to say "No". As in ehn! I can't count how many aso-ebis I bought last year (some that I just had to wear for only one day. Smh) The ability to say ‘No’, may be the greatest asset you ever build in your life. It saves you from stress. Like Seriously.

2. I let a random guy kiss and touch me

Lesson: Don't allow anyone to pressure you into doing something that you believe is wrong or goes against your beliefs. If you do go against your own beliefs, make sure you are doing it for yourself and not just to please someone else.
Great wisdom is to interpret things in the light of destiny, not on the basis of feelings.

3. I walked, moved, and worked alone

Lesson: We all need someone. Remember God saw that Adam needed Eve too. There is a saying that; one will chase a thousand, and two will chase tens of thousands. There is a huge chunk of the possibilities inherent in partnerships. Two is better than one.

Erm. . . Lemme quickly say this, Amakamedia will be partnering with CynthyMya in 2015. Cynthia has been a friend from a long time. She's more like a sis to me. I mentioned something about her here. We'll be sharing our heart Rays together. Can't wait! :)

4. I was careless about many things

Lesson:  Decide where you should keep certain documents, materials or anything sha, and keep them there. So that when you need them, you know where to find them. Did I tell you I lost my phone - the Android? Yes, I did o.

In 2014, I made mistakes, I chose wrongly. But I've decided to leave the regrets behind and move ahead with the lessons.

This is 2015. And it can only be better. Don't be afraid to make mistakes. Just start.

My prayer for your 2015 is that God does not allow you to get comfortable in any circumstance, situation or relationship that is beneath you. Your relevance will not diminish. And may your dreams be fulfilled this year in Jesus' Name. Amen.

Happy New Year!
