Beyond The Pay
You will be tried and tested.
You will be beaten down by failure and humbled by criticisms.
In your moments of self-doubt, more money is not a big enough cause to drive you.
More money is not the motivation you need to do the hard things that being successful demands.
More money is not enough reason to base your decisions.
You have a mission.
A cause. A calling.
It’s already inside you.
You know it’s there.
You can feel it rise up within you from time to time.
You can feel it rise up within you from time to time.
That’s the thing you need to embrace.
That’s your roadmap.
That’s the prism through which you need to view your priorities. And your struggles.
That’s the standard for your actions — the measure for what makes it on your to-do list.
Whatever “Heart Rays” means for you. Prove it through the tests.
Not dollars and cents.
Not naira and kobo.
In truth, you will always need financial resources to achieve your desired goals.
But that’s not your dream. It can’t be.
Or you’ll stay stuck and broke.
Your dream comes true in your labour. Labour is hard and tough. You have to work it out to walk into it.
You are learning. You are growing. You are expanding.
It is not about the money. God put you there to make you see what is yet to be seen, to know what is yet to be known and to experience what is yet to be experienced.
